As a newborn photographer with 6 years experience and having taken multiple safety courses, you can trust that your precious bundle is in safe hands. I am here to capture the beginning of your story with a newborn photoshoot and create authentic and timeless memories that will last a lifetime.

My style focuses on simplicity, with natural posing and neutral colourways, keeping your family at the heart of your images. This warm & classic style ensures that your images won’t age over time and will always look perfect on your walls.

Sessions take place at my cosy, purpose-built studio in the Sidcup area of Kent. With plenty of public transport links nearby and close to the A2/A20, clients often travel from further parts of Kent and also just a 20 minute drive from Greenwich/London.

HOW IT WORKS

Consultation & Booking

Due to only taking a limited number of newborns a month and the small window of time to capture them so little, it’s best to book in advance (anytime after your 12 week scan). If you have already had your baby, please do still message, as I sometimes have short notice availability.

Just fill in the form on my contact page or send me a message on Whatsapp, to find out my availability around your due date. Once you are all booked in, we’ll plan your perfect session! We will talk about specific images that you would like and any other details.

Your Session

Once you arrive at the studio, it is time to relax and enjoy! Newborn sessions are completely baby-led usually take between 2-4 hours. Family/sibling portraits are included and these take place at the beginning of the session.
Once the session is complete, we will then schedule your reveal session for 1-2 weeks time, where you will view your gallery and decide which images to take home with you. I do also have an online gallery option, which especially works well if you have older children.

The Big Reveal!

This is the best part! You get to see your final gallery and really appreciate how quickly your tiny bundle has changed in those few weeks. I’ll guide you through choosing your images, products and artwork for your home. Samples are available in the studio for your to see and feel what might work best for you.

FAQ

When you book with your due date, you are simply booking onto my calendar and will guarantee your photoshoot within the first 3 weeks of baby’s birth. This is flexible if baby is early/late- I just kindly ask that you advise me as soon as possible once baby has arrived.

It is highly advisable to book as soon as possible once you have had your 20 week scan, as my diary gets filled months in advance. This guarantees you a slot in my diary within the first three weeks of baby’s birth.

Yes! Even though I do get quite booked up in advance, I quite often end up with availability if a pre-booked baby has arrived early/late. Please do still get in touch- I can photograph newborns up to 8 weeks old.

You will return to the studio for your private in-person viewing appointment, within two weeks following your photoshoot. Digitals can be taken away with you and prints and products will take up to four weeks.

Yes, absolutely! Your newborn session is revolved around family and are included as much as possible. Well behaved dogs are welcome, either at the beginning or end of the photoshoot.

Having photographed babies for many years, it is extremely rare for a baby to be so unsettled that we cannot complete a full newborn photoshoot. If your baby really does not settle, do not worry as we can reschedule at no extra cost.
