Sidcup/Bexley, Kent- First Birthday Photoshoot

Meet this beautiful 11 month old girl, Mia. She came for her first birthday photoshoot a few weeks ago with her mummy and we had so much fun! I just love these sessions so much. My simple and timeless style provides little background distraction, keeping your baby the main focus at all times.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK IN FOR A FIRST BIRTHDAY PHOTOSHOOT?

I usually recommend booking your baby’s photoshoot in for around a month before the big day. This ensures that I can edit your gallery to my highest standard and have this back to you in time, to choose your final images.

WHAT IS PROVIDED FOR THE SESSION?

I have a range of gorgeous neutral outfits available in the studio for use, sizing between 6-12 months. You are of course welcome to bring your baby’s own outfits with you, but I love to provide options that help take the stress away!

Aso provided for your baby, are a selection of beautiful and natural wooden toys. These look absolutely amazing in the photos and gives your baby something to focus on, whilst I capture their natural expressions.

The session begins with me playing on the floor with your baby, to get them used to myself and the new environment. Once your baby is settled (usually within 10 minutes or so), I’ll begin taking photos. Baby photoshoots are fairly short and will last approximately 20-30 minutes. This is usually enough time for me to capture a variety of photos and allows time for outfit changes (2-3). Babies at this age have a short attention span, so I am to move fast to ensure that your baby remains happy at all times!

Sibling and family photos are always included in these wonderful photoshoots, to ensure that you end up with photos to treasure forever.
