WELCOME TO THE STUDIO
LR Short Photography’s custom-built photography studio is located in the Sidcup area of Kent (DA15). Just a short drive from London and also local to Bexley, Orpington, Chislehurst, Bromley and Dartford.
The studio was purpose-built with your precious babies in mind, creating a safe space for newborns, older babies and families. It is warm, cosy and a relaxing space for you to spend a few hours, whilst I capture your beautiful memories.

I’m Lauren and I absolutely have the best job in the world. As an experienced baby photographer of over 10 years, it’s a joy and privilege meeting parents who travel from all over London & Kent, and many return time again once their families grow. My photography style is neutral and timeless, focusing on connection and the tiny details you’ll never want to forget…those tiny toes, back rolls, chubby cheeks & every perfect strand of fluffy hair.
I pride myself on being safety trained in the art of newborn photography and with having two littles of my own, I understand how fleeting time is and the importance of capturing those precious moments. I have a cozy, custom-built photography studio at my home in Sidcup, easily accessible from London, Bexley, Bromley and Dartford. LR Short Photography studio is also just a 30 minute drive across the river from Essex.
